Teaching Fellow in Interactive Design

The University of Salford is now looking for an inspiring Teaching Fellow in Interaction Design who has a strong professional profile and recent experience in digital media design/art production and teaching. We are looking for a specialist in one or more areas of digital media art production, data visualistion, interface design, web design, contemporary digital arts practices, digital post-production, animation or games design and production.

The successful candidate will be required to deliver and contribute to the design of modules on the joint BA (Hons) in Digital Media Art at LAFA and our Digital Media programme area more generally.

This opportunity will also give the successful candidate the chance to work abroad for periods of up to three months in China! This will be at least twice a year with the rest of your time allocated to duties in Salford or time off on statutory annual leave.

We offer a range of family friendly, inclusive employment policies, flexible and agile working arrangements, staff engagement forums, campus facilities and services to support staff from different backgrounds. Our student population is already incredibly diverse, and we want to ensure that this is reflected across our colleague profile as well. We particularly encourage applications from women and individuals from minority ethnic backgrounds, who are currently under-represented within these areas. We also operate a guaranteed interview scheme for job applicants who declare they have a disability and meet the essential criteria of the job they are applying for.

Informal enquires about this role can be made to Paul Vivian, Director of Art and Design ([email protected]).
