About the Role

The Governing Body is seeking to appoint enthusiastic, outstanding and dedicated teaching assistants to support our teaching staff through the next stages of our exciting learning journey. Applications are welcome from all who wish to support the Catholic ethos of our school.

Personal Qualities

We are looking for Learning Support Assistants who are:

• committed to making a difference
• able to provide support to individuals and groups, contributing to the delivery of Literacy and Numeracy Intervention programmes
• able to work as directed by the teacher, giving verbal feedback to inform their planning and evaluation
• dedicated to encouraging good behaviour and pupil participation in class ensuring pupil safety at all times
• competent in assisting with the presentation of work and displays
• enthusiastic to supervise children’s play and lunchtimes as well as run after school activities one day a week
