What we offer

The Marketing Data Analyst, reporting directly to the Vice-President, Marketing, will be a proactive and strategic business partner. This role is expected to help shape the data analytics capabilities of Mattamy’s marketing team. Building out our reporting capabilities, digging into trends, and suggesting solutions for the business form the core of this role. The Marketing Data Analyst will partner with stakeholders throughout the business as a consultant and subject matter expert. You will use storytelling skills to persuasively communicate your recommendations to leadership.

 

What you’ll do

  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support strategic business decisions.
  • Analyze trends of campaign performance to provide actionable insights that support growth strategy
  • Translate complex data into understandable and actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in decision analysis.
  • Articulate and deliver on a comprehensive reporting strategy for various channels, including but not limited to Media, Email, Website, Social, Sales, Traffic, CRM
  • Develop and present compelling stories from data findings, providing clear, actionable insights to the Marketing organization and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data-driven decision-making and enhance the efficacy of Paid Media approaches.
  • Media (strategy & support, paid search, paid social, tracking & tagging)
  • Search Engine Optimization for paid media, social, and website.
  • Research marketing industry best practices; bring forward new ideas contributing to strategy optimization

 

What you bring

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Commerce, Business Administration, Data Management, or a related field.
  • 3 – 5 years of experience with data management and/or business analytics, in a Marketing environment.
  • Demonstrated experience using Power BI, Google Analytics and Microsoft Dynamics,
  • Experience with analyzing and reporting on digital marketing performance, such as effectiveness, trends over time and market changes.
  • Ability to build relationships and collaborate with departments across the organization.
  • Awareness and understanding of current and future industry trends, technology and best practices related to marketing efficiency & efficacy
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present data insights to non-technical stakeholders clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to work effectively in a constantly changing environment, requiring ongoing re-evaluation of priorities.
