Fundraising Trustee

Our Vision

As we turn 50 in 2025, our vision is to continue to bring the best of repertory cinema to audiences in Ipswich for another 50 years, to we are financially sustainable, and to provide an unparalleled quality of experience and knowledge of service.

What we are looking for

We are looking to recruit a Fundraising Trustee to our board, to identity funding opportunities, and initiate and manage funding applications. In particular, to work with the Managing Director in putting forward an application to the Suffolk County Council Culture Project Fund to help secure King Street Cinema’s long-term cultural and financial viability.

This role involves:

• Liaising with local authority and small business funding contacts

• Identifying funding opportunities

• Initiating funding projects

• Managing projects to completion

• Undertaking reporting to relevant funding bodies

• Staffing at least 1 Front of House shift a week

While this is an active trustee role, the successful candidate would only be expected to be on site for 1 shift a week. We expect this role to require 4 hours of off-site work a week, in addition to the 1 aforementioned shift.
