Keele University is accepting expressions of interest for funded studentships through the Economic and Social Sciences Research Council (ESRC) and Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) for September 2025.

Eligibility

Studentships are available in several pathways in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Faculty of Natural Sciences and Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. Pathways include (for AHRC eligibility) Creative Writing, English, History, Law, Media and Cultural Studies, Music, and Philosophy, and (for ESRC eligibility) Politics, Criminology, Social Policy and Social Work, Sociology, Economic and Social History, Social studies of Science, Technology and Medicine, Health and Well-being, Psychology, Geography, Socio-legal Studies and Biosocial Research. We welcome expressions of interest from both home and international students.

Applicants should have an Honours degree with a first or 2:1 classification or the equivalent if educated outside the UK.
