The Position

At Roche, we are looking for a dynamic and driven Strategy Deployment Partner to lead the deployment of our Pharma Performance Promise Priorities (PPP) and foster a culture of performance improvement. Key Responsibilities

As a Strategy Deployment Partner, you will:

  • Lead the 10-Year Pharma Performance Promises Roadmap: Collaborate with PPP Owners, SMEs, and cross-functional representatives to deliver on our ambitious roadmap.
  • Identify Breakthrough Initiatives: Develop proposals for breakthrough initiatives and timelines to drive performance.
  • Support Breakthrough Teams: Act as a thought partner, helping teams deliver impact and resolve bottlenecks. Orchestrate all the Breakthrough initiatives and drive a central governance and PMO
  • Drive Strategic Projects: Lead high-impact projects with no natural owner, sponsored by PT Leadership team members.
  • Own Project Results: Ensure projects progress according to plan and achieve significant, tangible business results.
  • Maintain Organizational Momentum: Act as a catalyst and architect for the delivery of the roadmap.
  • Communicate with Executives: Manage communication with executives across various functions and divisions.
  • Travel Internationally: Be prepared for international travel, up to approximately 20%.

Required Competencies

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • Deep Operational Expertise: Proven experience in Tech Ops – covering Lean manufacturing, supply chain, quality, regulatory, engineering,… and an impact mindset.
  • Project Management Experience: 7+ years of experience driving strategic projects with a strong track record of business impact.
  • Leadership Without Authority: Capability to lead and influence without formal authority.
  • Change Leadership: Demonstrated track record of leading change and enabling organizational transitions.
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to handle complex analyses independently and reduce complexity into strategic decision recommendations.
  • Effective Communication Skills: Highly developed written and oral communication skills, with the ability to advocate to senior management and diverse governance bodies.
  • Consulting Experience: Experience in a top-tier consulting firm is highly desirable.
  • Advanced Degree: Master’s, MBA, or PhD in a scientific or technical field.
  • Language Proficiency: Excellent proficiency in English; German is a plus.
