What You’ll Be Doing    

You’ll join our Frontline and Distribution Analytics team reporting into the Director, Measurements and Campaign Analytics. As a Consultant, you will focus on telling a story from data and sharing them with various stakeholders using dashboards or executive decks. You are a technical leader who is excited to help the business with the analytic support using various technical solutions, yet have strong business acumens to understand what business really needs. You’ll lead the design and delivery of insightful and actionable analytics and visualization solutions using data sources across Personal & Business Banking (PBB), and provide operational and tactical support in managing the data analytics environment in support of Frontline and Distribution Analytics strategy.

You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote. How You’ll Succeed

• Business Effectiveness – Identify and recommend changes that enhance operations whether through technology or other processes to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the department.

• Analytics & Reporting – Lead the delivery of streamlined reports and dashboards to influence decisions and/or identify gaps. You have the willingness to take ownership, get your hands dirty and surface insights that are clear and concise for a diverse set of business stakeholders

• Develop actionable insights: Monitor sales performance/activities and propose recommendations on appropriate action plans to close gaps to targets. Design and implement reports suitable for an executive audience

• Ad Hoc Analyses – Develop ad hoc analyses to address key business issues as they arise.   Complete complex client and product analyses utilizing a variety of structured and unstructured data sources. Develop and share insights with a wide variety of audiences.

• Data Visualization – Lead the design and strategy on data visualization for new and existing dashboards

• Project Support: Work with business partners to support key initiatives and projects  

• Work with Partners: You will develop change management strategies and maintain open, collaborative lines of communication to ensure awareness of requirements and impacts. You will gather critical information on the various management techniques/client issues/concerns, strategic priorities, business challenges and specific project requirements to support the development of a winning value proposition

• Business Intelligence & Reporting – Help define business and process requirements and manage deliverables against business partner expectations and time sensitive deadlines. Develop, improve and maintain ongoing reporting related to frontline measurement, business sales initiatives, marketing leads, financial planning tool usage, product and channel trends

• Communication –  Excellent verbal and writing skills to effectively articulate ideas and opinions that involve analysis, processes, and technology solutions to others with different disciplinary backgrounds. Ability to produce a variety of business documents that demonstrate command of language, clarity of thought and orderliness of presentation.

• Reporting – Track progress and conduct analysis of data and reports. Support in the tracking and communication of performance metrics.

Who You Are

• Technical Skills. You are comfortable with working with large datasets and related tools (e.g., SQL Developer, SAS, Python, Databricks etc.).  You have proven expertise in designing and delivering the user friendly production report for the multiple users using various BI Platform. You have advanced proficiency in SQL/SAS, Alteryx, Excel and Tableau.

• You have a degree in a quantitative field (i.e. mathematics, statistics, computer science, economics, engineering, physics, business) or equivalent experience. Advanced degree is an asset (i.e. MMA, MBAN, MSc, MA, MBA).

• Analytical. You give meaning to data. You enjoy investigating complex problems and making sense of information. You’re confident in your ability to communicate detailed information in an impactful way.

• Detail Oriented. You understand that success is in the details. You notice things that others don’t. Your critical thinking skills help to inform your decision making.

• You are a problem solver – You have exceptional critical thinking, problem solving and decision making skills with demonstrated ability to independently identify and analyze business and technical  problems and recommend solutions
