• Catering/cafe experience
• Experience in a FOH customer-facing role
• Strong people management and leadership skills
• Experience and willingness to working as part of a team
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and solve problems quickly and efficiently
• Passion for exceptional customer welcome including the ability to assist all visitors and support those with access requirements
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and Bank Holidays
• IT competency
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Commitment to learning about Charleston’s history and vision for the future.
• An interest in the arts, culture and heritage
• Excellent hygiene and cleanliness standards

Desirable skills and experience:

• NVQ level 2 food safety and hygiene certificate
• Experience of working at events
• Personal Licence Holder
• Knowledge of the local area First Aider
