Advertised Job SummaryUSC Sumter is seeking an Adjunct Instructor in English to teach ENGL 101: Critical Reading and Composition, and ENGL 102: Rhetoric and Composition. Courses may be in-person in Lexington, Richland, or Sumter Counties, or online. Candidates should possess a Master’s degree and a minimum of 18 graduate hours in the discipline. Master’s Degree or Ph.D. in the discipline preferred. Please indicate your interest in teaching in person and/or online. Teaching experience in post-secondary education and with online instruction is desired. Experience teaching the above-named course(s) or equivalent is ideal. This appointment is on a course-by-course basis. Salary is commensurate with education, experience and discipline.

QualificationsMinimum qualifications for this position include a Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate hours in English.
