The Role

The purpose of this role will be to expand the global reach of the avacincaptad pegol Core Medical Team Lead, by helping to foment strategy and execute tactics in the midst of a global launch.

Responsibilities

• Oversee real world data generation efforts in conjunction with global HEOR partners
• Participate in writing clinical protocols as needed
• Provide medical oversight for educational initiatives
• Contribute to discussions with Development colleagues and ensure that MA (including HEOR) perspectives are provided and incorporated in launch plans
• Alliance management- Liaise with external companies for execution of collaborations as they move through pre-set milestones
• Assist in creation of medical education content for different health care professional profiles (i.e retina surgeons; ophthalmologists; opticians; para medical staff)
• Assist in collation of data by creation of unified database (imaging)
• Omni Channels: Leverage novel digital platforms to elevate interactions with HCPs
• Support congress programming
• Work closely with publication team to develop and help execute publication plan
• Liaise and engage with external KEES and strategic partners
• Perform tasks delegated by Core Medical Team Lead and fill-in for Core Medical Team Lead when necessary

Required Qualifications

• Advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, MD or equivalent)
• Minimum 5yrs of Medical Affairs experience
• Familiarity with ophthalmology

Preferred Qualifications:

• Pre-launch experience in pharmaceuticals
