The Department of Surgery at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist/Wake Forest University School of Medicine is recruiting for an Academic Faculty Physician, Surgical Oncology.
Department Description:
Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist’s department of Surgery is nationally recognized for excellence in clinical care and research in specialty areas including:
- Acute care surgery
- Colon and rectal
- Hepatobiliary
- Transplant
- Trauma
- Burs
- Pediatric surgery
- Endocrine
- Surgical oncology
- Minimally invasive surgery
- Hypertension
The Department of Surgery at the Wake Forest School of Medicine is committed to educating the next generation of healthcare providers and innovators.
Our department is nationally recognized for excellence in clinical care and research in specialty areas including acute care surgery, colon and rectal, hepatobiliary, transplant, trauma, burns, pediatric surgery, endocrine, surgical oncology and minimally invasive surgery.
Graduates of the program have gone on to become board-certified surgeons, obtaining highly competitive fellowships in fields such as surgical oncology and pediatric surgery.
Candidate Qualifications and/or Preferences:
- MD or MD/PhD
- Board certification in surgery
- North Carolina licensure or eligible, if applicable
