Position Summary:

Teaching Assistant will be responsible for guiding students through detailed cadaveric dissections of various regions of the human body. Teaching Assistant will further assist in demonstrating and discussing clinical cases in laboratory sessions. Teaching Assistants are responsible for reinforcing the laboratory rules and code of conduct in the lab, to oversee all safety precautions regarding use of all dissection tools including bone saws as well as proper use of specimen preservative solutions.

AFS will run between February 10 and March 7, 2025.

Qualifications:

Must have prior experience in cadaveric dissection-based laboratories and a strong knowledge of all human anatomical systems. Proficiency in dissection skills and effective communication abilities are essential. Previous experience in teaching within dissection-based settings is required.

Effective communication skills in English (spoken and written) is essential. Communication in French is an asset.
