The RWS team is searching for a Principal to lead client engagements in the area Health Economics, Modelling, and Health Technology Assessment
Project responsibilities:
-
Leads a team of consultants in the design, development and delivery of RWS projects including larger, complex projects to a high standard which meets or exceeds client expectations.

In particular, the Principal will be responsible for the overall design, development and completion of health economics models, systematic literature reviews, budget impact models, and submissions to CDA, INESSS and other Canadian HTA agencies.

Provides high level input to and ensures development of the design, structure and delivery of study protocols, data outputs, client reports and presentations that are appropriate to the characteristics and needs of the client.

Recommends improvements and alternative solutions to meet and exceed client expectations.

Principals are expected to provide coaching and direction to more junior professionals assigned to engagements and across multiple projects

Responsible for final editorial review and signoff on all deliverables to clients
Business development responsibilities:
-
Established as a trusted advisor in the area of health economics and HTA within client organizations, with a robust existing set of client relationships and proven credibility.

Owns the relationship with clients as the overall thought leader on health economics and HTA.

Responsible for owning the Health Economics and HTA sales and delivery business targets
-
Works with clients to analyze client requirements and lead the project team in the development of proposals outlining project approach, project design, project plans & timelines, and pricing that meet client objectives

Identifies new opportunities for follow-on work and new project leads.

Builds and maintains portfolio of client contacts

Acts as an ambassador of IQVIA and thought leader amongst peers and the broader client community, including representing IQVIA at conferences, client events, etc.

Authors peer review publications, whitepapers, conference presentations & abstracts
Internal initiatives :

Proactively mentors, coaches and shares subject matter expertise with others to elevate our capabilities to deliver world-class solutions for clients.

Will have line management, coaching, mentoring and development responsibilities for employees.

Will assist with recruitment.

Understands and takes a role in implementing the RWS business vision and objectives.

Actively supports the strategic development of the business.
Qualifications:
- Postgraduate training in health economics, PhD preferred.
Experience:
-
10 years of experience in a relevant area such as healthcare analytics, epidemiology, pharmacovigilance, outcomes research, or health economics.
-
Proven experience in providing consulting servies, building client relationships, and ownership of business targets, with existing set of industry relationships.
Experience will generally have been gained in one of the following environments:
-
Pharmaceutical or healthcare consultancy (preferred)
-
Pharmaceutical or other healthcare industry
-
Academic or government research organization
-
Health services research setting

You will be required to work directly with IQVIA departments, teams, support functions and stakeholders located across Canada and around the world therefore, a functional knowledge of English, both written and spoken, is necessary to perform the duties of this position.
