Job Summary
Compass Digital is seeking an experienced Analytics Engineering Manager to lead and mentor a team of 6+ analytics engineers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the team’s development and growth, driving technical problem-solving, and enhancing team processes to ensure efficient project execution and data reliability. Strong expertise in dbt and SQL is essential, with knowledge of Airflow and Python considered a plus.

- Team Management and Leadership: Oversee a team of 6+ analytics engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to foster career development and growth.
- Technical Problem Solving: Act as a technical advisor to the team, helping with complex problem-solving and code review to ensure high-quality data solutions.
- Project Oversight and Delivery: Ensure timely and successful completion of analytics engineering projects, maintaining a focus on data quality and performance.
- Team Processes Maturation: Lead initiatives to refine and mature team processes, including incident management, release notes, and best practices for development workflows.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with stakeholders across Compass Digital to align engineering efforts with company goals, maintain transparency, and facilitate cross-functional support.

- Strong experience with dbt and SQL.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor a team, fostering both technical skills and professional growth.
- Strong organizational and project management skills to support a team in completing projects effectively.
- Experience with Airflow and Python.
- Prior experience in maturing team processes related to incident management and documentation practices.
