Assistant Teaching Professor in Computer Science
Park University invites applications for a non-tenure track, Assistant Teaching Professor position, appointment effective Fall 2025. All areas of Computer Science specialization will be considered, but we are especially interested in applicants with experience or specialization in Cybersecurity or Artificial Intelligence. Duties and responsibilities include active engagement in teaching, student advising, institutional services, and curricular development activities.
Minimum Qualifications:
A master’s degree in Computer Science or closely related area from an accredited institution.
Teaching experiences in Computer Science and evidenced potential for teaching excellence.
Subject matter expertise evidenced in relevant research or work experiences.
Preferred Qualifications:
A PhD or ABD in Computer Science or closely related area from an accredited institution. A full-time teaching-track faculty member with a terminal degree may petition for tenure-track status.
Experience in teaching using Canvas or other LMS tools.
Course development experience or evidence of the ability to develop both in-person and online courses.
Research record or strong research interest.
