Job Description:The University of Southern Maine’s Office of Registration and Scheduling Services is seeking a Transfer and Academic Coordinator.The is responsible for a variety of projects that support the breadth of responsibilities of the office. The Coordinator will contribute to transfer evaluation, year-round catalog production, aspects of special programming, degree progress report programming, overall database management, and general project coordination that contributes to the academic support mission of Registration & Scheduling Services. The Coordinator works collaboratively with the registrar, associate registrars, and colleagues across campus to coordinate transfer credit evaluations, catalog maintenance, and degree progress. This position also will be responsible for working with the registrar & associate registrar(s) to develop effective strategies for serving transfer populations to ultimately effect and enhance the enrollment and success of transfer students at the university.supports the instructional mission of the University by providing key services to students, faculty, academic and administrative departments, and to the public. Services include course registration, class scheduling, academic records, and policy compliance.
