Job description
The Project Manager selected for this opportunity will gain key public sector experience in building automation upgrades that can effectively position you to pursue and obtain key, sought-after public sector jobs. We are looking for a Project Manager that has 10+ years of experience to work hybrid (on-site and remote) and full-time (approximately 20 – 25 hours per week) in the Pasadena area.As a Building Automation Project Manager, your duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Provide project oversight for a city-wide, 26-building automation upgrade, and new installations at the central library and various smaller facilities.
- Maintain momentum across all project phases, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.
- Collect and analyze project details between meetings and milestones to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Develop and manage project timelines to ensure timely completion of all initiatives.
- Work closely with technical teams, who will provide the necessary technical expertise for the program.
As a Building Automation Project Manager, you will have:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience
- Strong project management experience, preferably within a municipal or public sector environment
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work permanently in the U.S. (i.e., without time limitations, without restrictions or without need for work sponsorship in the U.S.)
- Valid CA Driver’s License and proof of insurance
Expected salary
$60 – 72 per hour
