The Opportunity:
The Pharma Technical Communications Summer Student Analyst, part of the Pharma Technical Operations team in Mississauga, works closely with stakeholders across Pharma functions. This position offers undergraduate students early in their education the opportunity to gain exposure to core Technical Operations essential for manufacturing Roche medicines. Summer Student Analysts are involved in designing and implementing new processes, developing project management skills, and utilizing new technologies to enhance business productivity and profitability. They work on various project assignments and rotations across multiple areas, including Global Supply Chain, Regulatory, Quality, Biologics Manufacturing, Strategy & Engineering, Technical Development, Technical Operations Procurement, and Cell & Gene Therapy. All Roche employees are expected to contribute to cross-functional collaboration, coordination, and compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Participate in internal communication strategies to effectively communicate Roche Pharma Technical Operations site story in Mississauga.
- Support site communications to keep employees apprised of site initiatives, priorities, and events.
- Create and manage PT Mississauga site communications content and flow for internal communication channels, including Town Halls, internal Gsites, newsletters, presentations, speaking points, infographics etc.) and support community engagement initiatives.
- Collaborate across various PT functions in Mississauga to align messaging and approaches, co-creating content and enabling employee engagement opportunities.
- Support special projects or visits by Global Visitors with coordination, project management and content creation. Manage logistics, calendar invites etc.
Who You Are:
- Actively enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business, Marketing or related disciplines.
- Experienced in communications with strong writing skills and a passion for content creation.
- Competent in writing across different channels and mediums.
- Creative, resourceful, and a proven problem-solver with critical thinking capabilities.
- Strong focus in detail with the ability to complete tasks thoroughly and precisely.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of working proactively and constructively with others in the pharmaceutical industry.
Additional Information:
- Duration (4 months), work term (Full time) and will begin in (May to August 2025)
- Location: Based in Mississauga, Ontario.
- Our team follows a hybrid work structure (minimum 3 days in the office).
This position is not eligible for relocation support.
