Who You Are:

As a Lead Pharmacist or Pharmacist in Charge at Curaleaf, you’ll deliver exceptional patient experiences by providing expert consultations, product recommendations, and guidance on dosing and consumption methods. You’ll lead and mentor dispensary staff, drive patient and physician outreach, and ensure full compliance with inventory, security, and operational protocols to support revenue growth and operational excellence.

What You’ll Do: 

• Maintain expert knowledge of cannabis forms, dosing, strains, and delivery methods while staying current on industry trends, innovations, and medical use advancements
• Provide personalized product recommendations and clinical guidance while resolving patient concerns with professionalism, ensuring a positive and confidential experience in line with company policies
• Continuously monitor patient progress and tailor product recommendations or dosing for optimal results
• Create and deliver training to enhance team knowledge in product details, cannabis pharmacology, patient interaction, and compliance for accurate recommendations
• Lead guest tours and build strong relationships with physicians, patients, politicians, and community professionals to enhance engagement and trust
• Ensure full compliance with company policies, procedures, and all federal and state laws, including strict adherence to HIPAA and PII regulations
• Maintain a safe, clean environment while overseeing store operations, including opening and closing, and ensuring full compliance with state regulations in the absence of management
• Drive retail sales and patient retention by accurately forecasting inventory, managing product intake, and maintaining precise systems for regulatory reporting and sales analysis

What You’ll Bring:

• You hold a PharmD and an active Utah pharmacy license or plan to obtain one
• You have strong knowledge of the retail and pharmacy landscape with experience in highly regulated industries
• You excel in customer service, resolving guest concerns professionally, and have strong skills in training and developing team members
• You are available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

Even Better If:

• You have previous cannabis industry experience and a solid understanding of state cannabis regulations
