Main purpose of job: The selected candidate will join a diverse, and supportive team of over 60 staff employed by the British High Commission (BHC) in Maputo. The role sits within the Human Development, Climate and Humanitarian (HDCH) team but may support work across the mission. The principal purpose of this post is to provide administrative and project support to the HDCH programme team, and to the team’s projects. You may be asked to provide support to other teams as BHC Maputo’s programme portfolio evolves. The role requires a basic level of administrative skills, financial management understanding, a self-starting attitude, and ability to work independently under minimum supervision and guidance. The post holder will work closely with programme management colleagues, including the HDCH Team Leader. They will also lead on wider corporate contributions to ensure that BHC Maputo is a great place to work and will role model values and behaviours. |
