Description

The purpose of this consultancy is to develop new features and enhance the overall performance of the current ECW website to attract users, increase traffic and provide up to date information to ECW stakeholders.

Scope of Work:

The Education Cannot Wait (ECW) website educationcannotwait.org was overhauled in 2022 to reflect the rapid growth of ECW – the global fund for education in emergencies and protracted crises in the UN, hosted by UNICEF.  The new overhauled site was built to meet the needs of ECW’s growing audiences as a key institutional communications and advocacy digital platform, as well as a transparency and accountability tool.  The site’s Drupal content management system (CMS) has powerful functionalities to streamline external communication and increase the ease with which ECW communicates its messages and distinct brand, including key results and financial data dashboards, individual country profiles, as well as enhanced visibility for ECW’s wide range of partners.

As ECW has entered its second strategic plan and a new cycle of data reporting, this is an opportune time to enhance the current website contents to further enhance access to more up-to-date data and information, ensure all pages are updated, strengthen digital integration across ECW’s digital channels, and improve the site’s overall performance and SEO to strengthen ECW’s brand digital presence.

The purpose of this consultancy is to develop new features and enhance the overall performance of the current website to attract users, increase traffic and ensure up-to-date information for ECW stakeholders. This includes ensuring more up-to-date data and contents on all pages, enhancing interactive features of the site, developing new data-driven contents and dashboards, revamping the online reports sections of the site, supporting content management best practices in compliance to applicable web security and accessibility standards, and providing analytics to inform content management and editorial decision-making.
