Raytheon is seeking an Associate Director, RF Solutions Requirements & Capabilities providing their business development and capture management acumen toward the marketing and capture of new business within our Radio Frequency Solutions organization. The Associate Director will work with the PhantomStrike Fire Control AESA radar systems team to find and capture new business for this radar product domestically and worldwide. The Associate Director supports the management of the overall PhantomStrike campaign, so the potential opportunities range from moderately complex capture to extremely complex and sized capture projects. The Associate Director will have oversight of and provides measurable effort to developing new opportunities/customers specifically in the Asia Pacific and South Asia region along with specific OEM customers.
What You Will Do
- Plan, coordinate, and conduct customer meetings
- Facilitate Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs) with prospective customers
- Develop overall capture strategy and execute through Gate 2 to hand off at Gate 3 to Program Management.
- Present and communicate effectively to all levels of our current and potential customers as well as Raytheon executives
- Support the capture from Gate 3 through contract award
- Support strategy reviews after Gate 3, 4 and negotiations through Contract award
- Coordination of consultants and potential teammates
- Keep up to date the ERPM, POAM, Weekly Updates and other required monitoring venues
- Travel 50% both domestically and internationally
- Possible Work Locations: TX -McKinney, CA – El Segundo, VA – Arlington, or AZ – Tucson
Qualifications
- Typically requires a University Degree in a related field such as Business Management/Development/Engineering and a minimum of 12 years of international and/or domestic capture management experience, or an Advanced Degree (MBA or MS of national security, international affairs, engineering) and a minimum 10 years’ experience
- Experience with capture management, project and/or program management
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Knowledge of cross site and enterprise level planning and implementation practices
- Understanding of Raytheon’s Engineering, Finance, and Contracts practices
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience (10+ years) with both foreign and domestic customers

The salary range for this role is 162,000 USD – 326,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
