Stichting BRAC International (BI) is a leading non-profit organisation with a mission to empower people and communities in situations of poverty, illiteracy, disease, and social injustice. We design proven, scalable solutions that equip people with the support and confidence they need to achieve their potential. BRAC’s institutional expertise on successfully implemented programmes is applied across 10 countries, touching the lives of over 130 million people, where our models are adapted according to the country’s context.
BRAC Philippines launched its operations in the then Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) now BARMM in 2012, to implement the alternative delivery model project, a component of the Australian government-funded Basic Education Assistance in Muslim Mindanao program (BEAM-ARMM).
In April 2023, BRAC Philippines launched the Early Childhood and Development Project in the Philippines (BARMM) through the play-based curriculum that cultivates lifelong impact on children’s cognitive, social, emotional and motor skills, using a low-cost and highlight impact approach in 15 barangays in BARMM.
One of the key deliverables of the ECD Playlab centre in the Philippines is to develop and disseminate visibility materials across various media platforms to raise awareness and showcase its initiatives. This includes producing a 5-minute video that highlights the ECD Playlab centre’s mission, activities, and accomplishments. The video will provide an in-depth look at the centre’s role in promoting early childhood development, detailing its programs, services, and community engagement efforts. Additionally, it will showcase the tangible impact of these initiatives on children, families, and the broader community. By sharing this video on digital and traditional media platforms, the centre aims to inspire collaboration, attract potential partners, and emphasise the importance of investing in early childhood development.
