Job Description
Climax is a sex-education show for adults, set to a stimulating sound-track. It will be the show that you’d wish you’d seen before your first time… but your school wouldn’t have dared include it in the curriculum. Informed by heart-felt letters written by our close friend and interviews with Warrington women, we want the show to be empowering, hilarious and informative – everything else we will discover in the R&D.
The musical director will lead on the composition of new songs for the show alongside two actor musicians, a writer and a director. They will be responsible for the arrangement and documentation of the songs.
Job Requirements
Essential attributes & previous experience:
A playful, kind and collaborative approach.
Highly skilled in singing, harmony and at least one instrument (ideally piano).
Proven experience and confidence of creating, writing and arranging songs.
A keen interest in the subject matter and the importance of telling female-led stories.
A passion for creating new work from interviews and personal experiences.
