Contract Type: Fixed Term – 3 Years
Hours: 28 hours per week (0.7 FTE)
Salary: £32,000 FTE (£22,400 actual)
Location: Offices in Hartlepool and Newcastle, with some home working and regular travel across North East England
Holiday: Pro rata holiday entitlement based on 28 days FTE (including Bank Holidays and 1 day for your birthday)
Benefits: Professional development training budget and pension scheme
Reports to: Senior Creative Producer
Responsible for: Digital Archivist and Heritage Volunteers
Funded by: The National Lottery Heritage Fund
Probation Period: 3 months
Notice Period: 2 months
Job Requirements
Skills & Experience:
- A Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience producing projects and events in cultural, heritage or community settings.
- Knowledge or lived experience of LGBTQIA+ heritage, history or cultural work
- Understanding of the heritage sector or experience working with archives, museums or collections
- Proven project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple events across the region.
- Experience working directly with intersectional and underrepresented communities and/or co-creating programmes.
- Experience of line management and supporting professional development.
- Experience in volunteer coordination, training or mentoring
- Strong written and verbal communication, organisational and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience in budget management and reporting to funders.
- Experience in quantitative and qualitative data collection, reporting and evaluation methods.
- Deep commitment to inclusion, especially in relation to accessible event design.
