EU Public Affairs Internship

Position description

We’re looking for an enthusiastic intern to join our team and support HOTREC’s EU advocacy efforts. This internship is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in European policy-making and hospitality sector issues.

Your responsibilities

• Monitor EU legislative proposals impacting the hospitality sector;
• Assist in the development and implementation of advocacy strategies;
• Support internal and external meetings and events;
• Produce reports from meetings and events;
• Assist in managing EU-funded projects;
• Communications support including website updates, social media, presentations, design.

What we’re looking for

• A university degree;
• Familiarity with European politics and policies;
• Good understanding of the European Union and its institutions and processes;
• Be enthusiastic, eager to learn, with a proactive attitude and strong attention to detail;
• Good communicator, both written and oral;
• Excellent level of English, knowledge of other European languages is a plus.
