Job Description

Good day, everyone!

Here at Dance&Arts, we are currently looking for an energetic and enthusiastic teacher to lead our available Zumba Dance Afterschool Club.

Please see the details below:

Club: Zumba Dance Afterschool Club
Schedule: Every MONDAY, from 3:40 PM to 4:40 PM
Duration: Starting the 12th of January until the 16th of March (Ongoing Term)
Location: Primary school in the Stoke Newington area (N16)
Students: KS1 (ages 6-7 years old)
**Pay is £40 per hour.

ESSENTIAL: Enhanced DBS check, commitment, and high reliability.

Job Requirements

Passion for teaching young children (ages 6-7).
Experience teaching dance, movement, or fitness-based activities to KS1 pupils.
Ability to create a fun, inclusive, and safe class environment.
Strong group management skills and a positive, energetic approach.
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one before employment).
Right to Work in the UK (preferably residing in the London area).

Job Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate Zumba dance sessions.
Encourage confidence, rhythm, coordination, and enjoyment of movement.
Ensure each session is structured, energetic, and safe.
Foster positive behaviour and active participation.
