We are hiring at Healthcare Research & Data Analyst to join our Life Sciences and Healthcare team at Clarivate. Clarivate provides innovative data and analytical solutions to the largest biopharmaceutical and medical technology companies in the world. We are home to leading life sciences and healthcare solutions including Cortellis, solutions for Real World Data, medtech, market access and commercialization and deep consulting services.
The Healthcare Research & Data Analyst is a client facing role within our Medtech 360 solution. You will be responsible for performing market research, data analysis and forecasting and demonstrating subject matter expertise via syndicated written, customer research and client presentations.
About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments
- Bachelor’s degree in sciences, healthcare, data analytics, business, or a related field or equivalent relevant work experience
- 2+ years of experience in quantitative data analysis, ideally with exposure to healthcare or claims datasets
- Experience working with complex datasets, including the ability to investigate data issues, identify trends/gaps, and translate findings into actionable insights
- 2+ years of experience using Excel and SQL, including advanced functions, and capable of working with large, multi-dimensional data sources
It would be great if you also have…
- Strong client-facing communication skills, able to present data insights clearly and confidently to internal and external stakeholders
- Advanced degree
- Experience working with life sciences customers
- Familiarity with additional data languages (e.g., Python, R), which would help expand analytical capabilities and improve efficiency in working with complex healthcare datasets
- Exposure to or experience with project management responsibilities, including planning, coordination, and stakeholder communication across cross-functional teams
What you will be doing in this role?
- Analyze primary market research and data to produce actionable insights via syndicated content
- Generate forecasts based on multiple data sources
- Conduct interviews with key opinion leaders via telephone
- Regularly answer client questions
- Support Clarivate sales, consulting and analytics teams by lending expertise to product demos, sales calls and other internal teams’ projects
- Deliver webinars and/or other client-facing presentations
- Support and perform custom research
Hours of Work
- This is a full-time, permanent position
- This is a hybrid position working 2-3 days a week in our Toronto office
