Job description
We’re looking for a strategic, people-focused, and results-driven Marketing Team Leader to head our global medical marketing team. In this pivotal role, you’ll drive the full spectrum of marketing communications, from campaign strategy and execution to content creation, demand generation, and sales enablement, across multiple medical business lines. You will inspire your team to deliver impactful campaigns that strengthen our global brand and support commercial success in diverse markets.
What you will do
Leadership and team development
- Lead and mentor a team of global marketing specialists overseeing downstream marketing for multiple business lines, including medical devices (orthopaedics, cranio-maxillofacial, cardiac, and respiratory) and medical engineering software solutions;
- Guide and support local marketers in sales offices across the USA, Europe, and Asia, ensuring successful localization of global campaigns aligned to local sales objectives;
- Build strong cross-functional relationships with upstream marketing, sales leadership, and central marketing teams to ensure collaboration, competence development, and knowledge sharing;
- Translate the strategic market direction and commercial realities into effective marketing campaigns and sales tools that resonate with customers;
- Develop personalized growth plans for team members, fostering their skills as high-performing marketers.
Marketing strategy and execution
- Prioritize marketing activities across diverse business lines to maximize impact and ROI;
- Manage budgets and allocate resources strategically, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of campaigns;
- Lead the creation and execution of integrated multi-channel campaigns across digital, social media, PR, events, print, and partnerships;
- Oversee the development of compelling, audience-specific content to drive engagement and conversion;
- Implement lead-generation and customer-engagement initiatives that support revenue growth;
- Provide sales teams with tools, collateral, and training to enhance commercial outcomes;
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance, reporting insights and refining strategies for continuous improvement.
Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field;
- 5+ years of marketing leadership experience, with proven team management;
- Demonstrated success in downstream campaign execution within a B2B medical technology market (direct-to-physician experience is a plus);
- Experience working across global markets and diverse business cultures in Europe, the USA, and Asia;
- Passion for people management, coaching, and developing competencies;
- Deep understanding of modern marketing mix — digital and traditional channels;
- Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills;
- Proven track record in developing strategies that deliver measurable growth.
