What will you be doing in this role?
- Coordinate, with the team assigned to the task, the input to be provided to the contractor(s) from an end-to-end point of view of the development cycle;
- Work within the agile process and take decisions regarding priority, business value, and functionality;
- Follow a number of activities across different projects and contractors requiring technical and project management skills;
- Understand and comply to a review process, monitor status of certain tasks, coordinate internally and gather input;
- Possess an in-depth knowledge of goals and desired objectives of the project;
- Validate requirements taking into account the relevant data space stakeholders;
- Propose solutions by combining IT tools and business process refactoring or improvements based on an in-depth understanding of a specific data spaces and initiatives;
- Be involved in the decision-making process related to user stories scheduling into sprints;
- Review deliverable and demonstrable product version/software functionalities after every sprint;
- Organize live demonstration of the product at the end of the sprint;
- Evaluate and facilitate progress reporting;
- Assist with internal and external communication by improving of transparency and dissemination of information;
- Evaluate prioritization and resolution of defects/bugs;
- Interact with business analysts, architects, stakeholders, project leaders and the developers.
Requirements
What do you need to succeed in this position?
- Master’s degree in IT and minimum 15 years of relevant professional experience (or Bachelor’s degree in IT and minimum 19 years of experience);
- Certification in one of the followings: Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Project Management certification (PMP, PMI, Prince2 Foundation,PM2);
- Strong experience with large, enterprise-level multi-user Information Systems;
- Proven experience managing end-to-end large IT projects or programs;
- Strong experience in Agile as well as agile toolbox (i.e., JIRA, Confluence, Big Picture, Gliffy, Balsamiq, etc.);
- Excellent Knowledge of Application Management Lifecycle;
- Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, COBIT, Zachman;
- Proven experience working in EU Institutions, especially in EC;
- Proven experience in managing activities under a large project or programme autonomously, while coordinating with the team, contractors and/or client;
- Practical knowledge of (Open-Source) data sharing tools (EDC, Gaia-X, others), models and standards (W3C DID, W3C DCAT, W3C ODRL, …);
- Good knowledge of microservices and architecture in the cloud;
- Good knowledge of Relational DBMS;
- Knowledge of security mechanisms for cloud architectures (e.g., IdP);
- Advanced English (C1) communication skills (written and spoken).
