We are seeking our future VP Global Business Solutions to lead the strategy and evolution of Aliaxis’ global platforms across ERP, Finance, HR and Tech Innovation. Reporting to the Group CIO, this role drives digital transformation and ensures IT operational excellence worldwide.

Job description 

Based at Aliaxis’ Brussels headquarters and reporting directly to the Group CIO, the VP Global Business Solutions leads the strategy and evolution of Aliaxis’ global platforms across ERP, Finance, HR and Tech Innovation. The role drives digital transformation and ensures IT operational excellence across all regions, with regular international travel.

Key Responsibilities are:

  • Strategic & Technology Leadership: Define and steer the global strategy for ERP, Finance, HR and Tech Innovation platforms. Lead the delivery of IT applications and the Group’s AI strategy. Establish and oversee the EA function. Partner with Finance, HR & Legal leaders to shape their roadmaps, as well as looking for synergies between regions in their Sales, Marketing, Logistics & Manufacturing roadmaps;
  • Operational Excellence: Define the operating model for GBS. Optimise IT budgets to maximise value and efficiency. Ensure high standards of IT service delivery and operational performance across regions;
  • People Leadership: Lead a diverse IT organisation (+/- 10 direct and 10 indirect reports across multiple countries);
  • Cybersecurity & Risk: Work with cybersecurity teams to ensure governance and riskmanagement practices across all applications and platforms.

Requirements

  • Senior technology leader with deep Enterprise IT expertise and experience of delivering largescale digital & IT transformation (ideally including ERP (SAP S/4HANA), Workday and cloud initiatives);
  • 15+ years of progressive IT leadership, preferably in global/regional roles (experience in manufacturing, or related industries is appreciated);
  • Ability to engage senior business stakeholders and collaborate in a complex, global matrix across Group and Regional IT teams;
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity, data governance, compliance, and enterprisewide risk management;
  • Skilled in IT operating model design, transformation leadership, and driving innovation and continuous improvement;
  • Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Business Administration or related field;
  • Excellent English communication skills and ability to operate in multicultural environments, supported by strong analytical and strategic thinking.
