Job Description
We are looking for a committed, playful actor in his 20s to play parts ranging from a suicidal young boy from the 1960s to a nursing shift coordinator in a busy, underfunded mental hospital. Strong ability with text and multi-roling and a convincing huddersfield accent. Needs to be a strong singer with strong guitar or accordion skills.
Within These Walls is a new play by Janet Bolam exploring the history of the Warneford Hospital to celebrate the hospital’s 200 Years. It’s ITC rates (£631/week. Total: £3,155), five weeks work 8 June – 12 July 2026. However, there is no accommodation budget so it needs to be an actor with an Oxfordshire base.
