Job Summary

Social Media Manager, Parker Harris & The Art Ladder. Full-time, London-based (mostly remote), £28k/year. Run Instagram, Facebook and YouTube across both brands, turning art prize and mentoring content into social posts. 2+ years’ experience and love of contemporary art needed. Apply by 1 July 2026.

Job Description

We’re hiring a Social Media Manager to join the team at Parker Harris and The Art Ladder.

Parker Harris is an arts consultancy with over 35 years’ experience running some of the UK’s leading art prizes and open exhibitions. The Art Ladder is our online mentoring programme for artists, launched in 2024 and now supporting over 1,000 artists across the UK and beyond.

This is a full-time, employed role based in London (with home working), paying £28,000 per year. Start date: 1 August 2026.

You’ll take ownership of social media across both Parker Harris and The Art Ladder, working closely with our Communications Manager and Head of Communications. Day-to-day, that means writing, creating and scheduling posts across Instagram, Facebook and YouTube; managing community engagement; monitoring performance; and turning raw session clips from The Art Ladder into short-form content ready to publish.

You’ll keep each brand’s voice distinct while finding smart cross-promotion opportunities between the two. You’ll also support wider marketing tasks including email scheduling, press release distribution, and analytics reporting.

You’ll have at least two years of social media management experience and a genuine background in or passion for contemporary art. You understand what performs on each platform, have a strong visual eye, and care about getting the details right. Proficiency with tools like Canva, Later, Descript or CapCut is a plus.
You’ll be London-based and able to attend occasional events, private views and team meetings in person.

How to Apply:
Send your CV, a short cover letter, and examples of your work to [email protected] by 5pm on 1 July 2026.

You must have the right to work in the UK and be London-based, with the ability to attend exhibition private views, filmings and team meetings in person.
