Visual Art Workshop Leader – Little Fish Theatre -Southwark Summer Programme 2026 Dates: 15th July (Planning) 9am-5pm 27th July – 7th August 2026 (Monday to Friday 5 days a week – 8 hours a day) Location: Southwark Contract: Freelance Artist Workshop Leader Total Fee: £1,440

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Artist Workshop Leader to deliver engaging, creative workshops as part of our Southwark Summer Programme.
This exciting opportunity is ideal for practising artists, creatives, and arts educators who are passionate about working with children and young people. Successful applicants will design and facilitate inspiring, inclusive sessions that encourage creativity, self-expression, collaboration, and confidence-building.

Job Requirements

Essential Requirements
Experience leading arts-based workshops with children and/or young people.
Strong communication and facilitation skills.
A commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion.
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
Reliable, organised, and able to work independently.
Desirable
Experience working within community arts, youth, or cultural programmes.
Skills in visual arts, digital arts, mixed media, crafts, performance, or multidisciplinary practice.
Knowledge of the Southwark community and local cultural landscape.
