Job Description
Dance&Arts is looking for an enthusiastic Bollywood Afterschool Club Teacher to deliver a weekly club at a primary school in Islington (EC1R) during the Autumn Term.
The club runs every Friday from 3:30pm to 4:30pm, from 18 September until 4 December, and is for children in Years 3-6 (ages 8-11). Pay is £40 per hour.
You’ll plan and deliver engaging Bollywood dance sessions that introduce children to expressive movement, rhythm, choreography, and performance in a fun and inclusive environment. Teachers are encouraged to bring their own creativity while helping children build confidence, coordination, and teamwork through dance.

Job Requirements
Experience teaching Bollywood dance to children.
Passion for inspiring young learners through dance.
Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
Reliable, punctual, and committed for the full term.
Enhanced DBS certificate (required).
Right to work in the UK.
Previous experience in schools or community settings is desirable.
Job Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging Bollywood dance sessions for primary-aged children.
Teach age-appropriate choreography, movement techniques, rhythm, and performance skills.
Create an inclusive, fun, and encouraging learning environment.
Support children in building confidence, coordination, and creativity.
Prepare simple routines for informal performances where appropriate.
Manage behaviour positively while ensuring children’s safety.
Communicate professionally with the Dance&Arts team and school staff.
