Creative Communities Facilitator

Club Soda is a disability-led arts charity creating opportunities for learning-disabled and autistic people through music, media, creativity and community.

We are looking for an imaginative and enthusiastic Creative Programmes Facilitator to join our team. This is a hands-on creative role for someone who loves working with people and can create engaging, accessible sessions where everyone can participate and contribute.

You might work in music, film, photography, podcasting, radio, visual arts, performance, digital media-or across several art forms. More important than your particular discipline is your ability to bring people together, generate ideas and enable others to be creative.

The role will include:

Planning and facilitating accessible creative sessions for learning-disabled and autistic people.
Taking a lead role in delivering our monthly Media Team sessions, helping members explore different forms of media and create their own content.
Developing and delivering creative outreach sessions in care homes, day services, schools, colleges and community settings.
Helping us develop creative sessions that can be commissioned by other organisations.
Adapting activities for different interests, abilities, communication styles and support needs.
Working collaboratively with Club Soda members, staff and partners.
As the role develops, contributing to Club Soda’s training, access and consultancy work where your skills and experience are relevant.

This is not a desk-based project management role. You won’t be responsible for fundraising, sales, marketing or staff management. We want someone who wants to make things happen creatively with people.

The role will initially be freelance, with work offered flexibly according to programme needs. We hope to develop it into a more regular position from January 2027, subject to programme development, funding and mutual agreement.

£30ph with a typical day being 6 hours long and at least 4 days per month between Oct-Dec.
