18-36 month Montessori Assistant and Lead positions available

We are looking to add to our Staff Family at MGS. A little about us, MGS is a small private Montessori program in the King of Prussia,PA area that has been educating children in the Philadelphia and suburbs for the past 24 years. We are a dedicated group of dynamic educators and advocate for young children and their families. Our teachers play a crucial role in both the short term everyday life of our students as well as providing our students a foundation for long term success. Our program culture is based on building relationships between ownership and our teachers, our teachers with their students and families, and with the families and the ownership. Our staff culture is one where our teachers help support each other throughout the day and rely on each other for support. We are looking for a candidate that wants a position where they will have an active role in our school and someone that will add to our school and staff culture. We are looking for an indiivudal that understand the Montessori Philosophy in the itoddler space and can apply it to the environments.

• Looking for a position that will give them an active role in their day to day
• Familiarity with Montessori approach and application
• AMS trained

Requirements:

• A Minimum of two years of experience working with children or/and
• A minimum of an Associate’s degree in ECE or a related field or a Bachelor’s degree in a non related field
• Experience with children with different levels of need is a major plus (ex: special education, Therapeutic staff support (TSS), ESL)
• Obtain PA Childadbuse clearance, FBI fingerprint, and a PA Background Check, NSOR and any other mandated clearnaces and trainings

Salary and Benefits:

• $17-19 Candidates with a Associate’s degree in a related field (ECE, Education, Psychology, Sociology) and one year’s experience; Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in a non-related field; Candidates with 5+ years of experience with a High School Diploma or GED
• $19-$24 Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in a related field (ECE, education, Psychology, Sociology) and 2+ years of experience; Candidates with Associate’s in a related field and 4+ years of experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 – $23.00 per hour
