Product & Supply Chain Management (PTS) connects the different parts of Roche to ensure a reliable supply of our innovative medicines to customers and patients. We ensure worldwide reliable supply to patients, connecting their needs to the Roche Pharma Global Supply Network. This network consists of Roche manufacturing sites, contract manufacturers and external suppliers. We partner across Pharma to develop and execute agile product lifecycle and network strategies. We design and optimize end-to-end supply chains from raw materials to final products throughout the product life cycle. 

The Opportunity:

The Pharma Technical Summer Student Analyst, part of the Pharma Technical Operations team in Mississauga, offers undergraduate students hands-on exposure to core operations crucial to manufacturing Roche medicines. This role facilitates engagement with process implementation, project management, and new technologies to enhance business productivity and profitability. Students participate in various project assignments across multiple areas such as Global Supply Chain, Regulatory, Quality, Biologics Manufacturing, Strategy & Engineering, Technical Development, and Technical Operations Procurement, gaining valuable insights into Pharma Technical operations. Roche expects all employees to contribute to cross-functional collaboration while adhering to relevant laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.

• Participate in business initiatives, Pharma Technical projects, process improvements, and support activities.
• Under supervision, participate in system and process design and ensure that established goals and timelines are met.
• Collaborate with peers and cross-functional teams to achieve results.
• Build on your experience in hands-on Pharma Technical Operations project management, organizational skills, and interacting with support specialists.
• Practice self-management, time management, and individual goal-setting throughout the duration of project work. Work with Pharma Technical mentors to further develop career goals.

Who You Are:

• You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree In Engineering, Science, Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, Operations, Business, Policy or related disciplines.
• Excellent organizational, oral and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail, including the ability to accomplish a task while demonstrating a thorough concern for all the areas involved
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with others in a proactive, positive and constructive manner
• Proven critical thinking and creativity skills; solve problems by applying technical and functional experiences
• Highly motivated, self-driven individual with a passion for working within the pharmaceutical industry

Additional Information:

• Duration ( 4 months), work term (Full time) and will begin in (May, 2025)
• Location: Based in Mississauga, Ontario.
• Our team follows a hybrid work structure (minimum 3 days in the office).
