POSITION:
Teaching Assistant Professor of Legal Studies, TL055, Full-Time: 100% appointment, Instructional Academic Staff, Ongoing/Renewable, Academic (9-month), one vacancy
This position is eligible for hybrid work consideration. Currently eligibility requires residency in one of the following states: Wisconsin or Minnesota upon hire.
POSITION SUMMARY:
As the premiere and only four-year Legal Studies and Criminal Justice Program in the Northland region, we are dedicated to preparing students for careers and advanced studies in the areas of law, criminal justice, and beyond.

We are seeking applicants for a Teaching Assistant Professor position, with a specialized focus in Legal Studies who demonstrate a commitment to student learning and development. The ideal candidate will have expertise in areas such as legal theory, legal processes and systems, and/or comparative / international law.

According to the Attorney General, “final candidates” under Wisconsin law means the five candidates who are considered most qualified for the position. See Wis. Stat. Sec. 19.36(7)(a).
