Iftin Charter School serves a unique student population and is looking for a teacher with multiple subjects credential. Candidates should be qualified and able to teach English, Social Studies.

Candidates should be willing to teach students with varying needs (a typical classroom has students ranging from newcomers and struggling learners to gifted learners). We are looking for a passionate teacher who will hold students to high expectations and maintain classroom management.

Qualifications:

1.Multiple Subject Teaching Credential

2.CTEL Certification, CLAD/LDS Certification or SB 1969/SB 395 Certification required.

3.No Child Left Behind Compliant.

2. Commitment to a balanced math program that emphasizes basic skills, concept development and problem solving.

3.Commitment to and demonstrated ability in the implementation of Guided Reading, Independent Reading Conference, writing as a process, and teaching math conceptually.

7. Demonstrated evidence of examining student work and utilizing data to inform instruction.

10. Commitment to and demonstrated evidence of Systematic English Language Development.
