The is composed of subspecialty services with most faculty providing diagnostic patient care in two subspecialty areas. The candidate will join our other highly experienced pulmonary pathologist and be responsible for diagnostic sign-out, multidisciplinary conferences, collaborative research, and education. The Department will provide support to qualified candidates with demonstrated interest in pulmonary pathology yet requiring additional training and/or exposure to neoplastic and non-neoplastic pulmonary specimens. Additional subspeciality interest in other areas of anatomic pathology will be supported, allowing candidates to practice based on prior training and experience. The position is for an Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor on the clinical scholar pathway.The University of Vermont Health Network is composed of seven hospitals, including the academic in , six community hospitals spanning the “north country” of New York and the central Vermont regions, and Home Health and Hospice. • Join our current pulmonary pathology service and receive mentorship from a nationally recognized, experienced pathologist.
• Provide diagnostic pathology for the patients we serve in Vermont, upstate New York, and New Hampshire, resulting in a total of 45,000 surgical pathology specimens annually.
