Experience Level: 7+ years of experience 

Work Location: New Jersey 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop trusted relationships across a portfolio of major Life Science client(s) to ensure that they are actively engaged with Quantiphi
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key customer stakeholders and executive sponsors by displaying good understanding of Life Sciences value chain and business workflows
  • As an Account Manager, you are an expert at contributing to different phases of the Sales lifecycle and will be intensely involved in business development in key accounts
  • Client relationship management and new business development – managing relationships with key client personnel and CXOs and CXO -1, within the client organization and ability to understand the organizational culture of the client
  • Expand the relationships with existing customers by regularly proposing solutions that align with their strategy and/or meet their immediate objectives
  • Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer goals, needs and requirements
  • Act as the main point of contact in all matters relating to client concerns and needs
  • Generate new sales that support overall account growth
  • Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet performance criteria
  • Facilitate the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Address any issues and/or problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust and client satisfaction

Basic Qualifications:

  • Demonstrable experience of minimum 7 years as an account manager/executive or related roles in an Information Technology services/consultancy company (must have)
  • Demonstrable experience of a minimum of 5 years working in an Information Technology services/consultancy company selling to Lifesciences/Pharmaceutical Industry (must have)
  • Must have current or past experience managing Pharma accounts selling technology solutions preferably in the Cloud, Data and AI space
  • Excellent understanding of the Life Sciences/Pharma industry domain (must have)
  • Demonstrable experience in technical sales and solutions based on customer needs, especially in the areas of cloud, data and artificial intelligence (must have)
  • Demonstrable ability to professionally communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level
  • Excellent organizational, communication and presentation abilities
  • C-level clients engagement experience
  • Proven track record on spearheading sales cycles and negotiating contracts all the way to SoW stage
  • Experience forecasting and tracking account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time

Other Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in selling and /or managing AI /ML/GenAI type of solutions is a big plus
  • Experience in consultative selling of professional services and solutions
  • Strong communication, facilitation and presentation skills
  • Strong entrepreneurial skills to manage the overall account like a business including selling, delivery and hire/manage talent relevant to client delivery
