We are now offering an exciting opportunity to join a global leader in Health, Nutrition and Care. As Account Manager Turkey, you will coordinate all commercial activities related to customers and their needs (directly or via distributors) within Turkey in the field of OTC drugs and dietary supplements (under Pharma registration or as food supplements). You will also have to build privileged customer & distributor relationships and you are responsible to build up in-depth and strong knowledge about markets and develop and implement sales plans in alignment with the company´s market segment strategies.

Reporting to the Sales Team Leader TR & IR your role will encompass both technical and commercial responsibilities. Expected travel is approximately 50 %.

Your key responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a portfolio of direct customers
  • Lead and support distributor and foster strong relationship
  • Maintain and grow the sales in the country
  • Achieve KPI objectives according to the regional sales & marketing targets and global pricing strategy.
  • Capture value by identifying market opportunities for existing and new products/applications
  • Use Strategic Marketing & Value Selling approach to differentiate dsm-firmenich products and services from competitors
  • Work with the marketing and business development organizations to facilitate product launches and provide top notch service to achieve quick penetration of new products
  • Generating new business opportunities by identifying the right customers and marketers in the region under your responsibility and cooperate with Market Development Experts to focus on strategic relevant market segments
  • Active management of customer projects (via using CRM support tools) and forecasting of sales
  • Take ownership of the full-service performance of dsm-firmenich, stimulating and facilitating customer service and other departments in the fulfillment of their task

You bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Management, Commerce, Marketing or other business-related field
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in sales, strategic marketing and/or business-related field
  • Knowledge of industry and markets, in-depth know-how about products and/or applications
  • Driven to achieve strong customer relationship and profitable growth in demanding market environment
  • Good balance of commercial, marketing and technical knowledge
  • Fluent language skills in Turkish and English.
  • Ability to professionally handle highly complex tasks
  • Team player with skills in coordination and involvement of colleagues and service functions
  • Deep understanding of market dynamics, consumer needs and the highly complex environment
