Summary of Job Duties:

University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff is accepting applications for a part-time faculty position in English. The University of Arkansas is a state-supported 1890 land grant HBCU with a diverse student population, competitive degree offerings, and stellar faculty. It is located 44 miles south of Little Rock, the state capital of Arkansas. The successful candidate could join our instructional team as early as August 2024. This position requires a commitment to teaching in a dynamic college setting and the ability to successfully interact and respond to the broad-ranging needs of an academically and culturally diverse campus setting.

Qualifications:

Candidates for this position must have earned a Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate hours in the discipline and have higher education teaching experience. Candidates must have flexibility to teach face-to-face and online classes. Also, candidates must possess excellent written, oral communication, and interpersonal skills.
