Job Title:  Adjunct Faculty in Public Relations – Comms 495R – Research and Readings in Communications Practice

Job Classification:  Adjunct faculty – Teaching; mostly evening classes with the possibility of teaching in Continuing Education (Evening Classes, Salt Lake Center, BYU Online

Start date of this position:  04/30/24

Required Degree: Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred.  The required degree must be completed by the start date.

Experience: Five to ten year’s experience in the following areas preferred:

  • Public Relations
  • Public Relations research and management
  • Public Relations writing and production

Duties/Expectations: Adjunct (mostly evening) teaching opportunity teaching Comms 495R,  Research and Readings in Communications Practice.  Course content will be in the field of PR research methods.  This course will be 3 credits and will follow the curriculum provided by the School of Communications faculty.  Adjunct obligations will be limited to class instruction only unless prior notice is given to the adjunct instructor.
