Posting DetailsThis adjunct position will remain open for 1 year to allow departments’ access to candidate pools when there is a need to hire an adjunct to teach a course(s) during defined academic semester(s).

  • Required Qualifications
  • Master’s degree
  • Demonstrated teaching experience in higher education, including the use, management and orientation of students within D2L Brightspace (Learning Management System) and campus e-services
  • Experience with immigration regulations (specifically those for F and J visas); requirements of University Health Services; stewardship of SCSU diversity, equity, and inclusion values
  • Ability to teach and work with persons from diverse backgrounds
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Master of Arts in Teaching English as a Second Language, Global Studies, or closely related field
  • Knowledge of student support offices, services and functions on campus and within online environments
  • Online teaching experience in higher education
  • Expertise in use of digital technologies in the classroom
