Job Title: Advanced Project Manager – Marketing
Location: Kenilworth, NJ (Hybrid)
Duration: 12 Months
Responsibilities:
- You will drive initiatives with our Diagnostic and Pharma partners as well as our internal support functions and you will be a key member of our Global Oncology Precision Medicine Team.
- Highly scientific & strategic Precision medicine is helping healthcare providers provide better patient care by select treatments that are most likely to help patients based on a genetic understanding of their disease.
- You will be working to support a portfolio of indications; Project management piece is extremely important. Manager is open to possibility of remote work; would like candidate to be within traveling distance to Kenilworth, New Jersey.
- While they do not have to be in the office every day once COVID restrictions are eased, he would like to set up an on/offsite cadence.
- Providing commercial leadership, support and expertise to Diagnostic Development Teams, Global Brand Teams, Regional & Local Marketing Organizations Short & long-range Business Strategy & Planning; development of diagnostic strategies & tactics, hereunder positioning, messaging, competitor assessments etc.
- Global engagement of key scientific leaders relevant for guiding strategy development and enablement of the use of the diagnostic test together with Medical Affairs and key R&D functions
- Working effectively with cross-functional partners including R&D, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Regulatory Affairs, Diagnostic and Pharma partner companies to successfully navigate the internal and external environments and deliver value to patients
- Develop and manage Diagnostic Promotional campaigns and their implementation, aligning with multiple stakeholders across the organization.
- Develop and implement Diagnostic Market Research strategies, ensuring the right insights to inform our Diagnostic strategies and initiatives
- Responsible for content development of Newsletters, ensuring compelling and interesting stories to internal stakeholders
- Manage Commercial presence at select Diagnostic Congresses
- Lead Diagnostic Digital Initiatives in collaboration with a range of support functions to
- Ensuring oncology patients have access to the diagnostics needed to guide their treatment.
- Seasoned marketing professional & scientist with a commercial mindset with experience and insights across both diagnostics and pharma.
- Ensuring implementation of Client’s biomarker and diagnostics strategies, aiming to make quality diagnostic tests available to patients.
- The development of tumor-specific diagnostic commercialization plans & tactics are done together with Regional and Local Diagnostic Leads.
- This role holds the opportunity and requirement to work with multiple tumor-types and interface with a wide range of functional areas to continuously optimize diagnostic strategies and their execution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor is required – MSc, MBA or Ph.D. is preferred
- At least 7 years of Marketing experience.
- Biotech experience in pharma marketing
- Strong oncology experience
- Companion/oncology Diagnostics experience
- IVD (in vitro diagnostic) product development knowledge
- Global/Cross functional team experience
- Understanding the concepts of Diagnostic technologies such as IHC (Immunohistochemistry) and NGS (Next-generation Sequencing)
- Global (diagnostic product or Tx w/Dx required) launch experience
- Experience working with diagnostic companies
- Insight into partnerships between pharma and diagnostic companies / partnership management.
- Understanding of pharma culture
