About the Advocacy Team
The Advocacy team plays a crucial role in shaping and promoting policies that support the hydrogen industry. It fulfils policy development and lobbying responsibilities, engages with key stakeholders and keeps track of legislative and regulatory developments.
The team is dedicated to ensuring that hydrogen remains a central element in Europe’s transition to a sustainable and carbon-neutral future.
Main responsibilities:
- Supporting the work of the Advocacy Team;
- Assist in maintaining and updating databases of stakeholders, policy developments, and advocacy activities.
- Support the planning and execution of advocacy events and meetings
- General administrative support to the advocacy team, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and taking minutes during meetings.
- Ad hoc support for the Advocacy Team and the wider organisation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s (preferred) Degree in Management, Business Administration, EU affairs, communication, marketing or related (3rd year or above);
- Strong interest in advocacy, administrative procedures, and membership associations;
- Proficiency in using the Microsoft Office package;
- Experience with database upkeep and management, experience with CRM systems is a plus
- An excellent command of spoken and written English, additional languages are a plus;
- Ability to analyse information and summarise it concisely;
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills;
- Ability to communicate with tact, diplomacy, discretion;
- Strong time management and organisational skills and an eye for detail;
- High level of curiosity and willingness to learn about the hydrogen sector
