When you work as an Analyst II in the Pharmaceutical Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) lab at KCAS, you get to further our mission by working under senior Pharma LC-MS/MS scientists to contribute to the success of our clients.

The Pharma LC-MS/MS lab team uses their knowledge in GLP and GCP methods to support clients’ regulatory submissions for drug discovery, preclinical, and clinical studies, including bioanalysis of drugs and metabolites, biomarkers, and active endogenous compounds in biological fluids and tissues.

In this role, we will rely on you to:

  • Processing, preparing, analyzing, and verifying samples, laboratory solutions, reagents, method development, and reports
  • Preparing study records and data summaries for senior scientists to aid in client updates and for archiving
  • Independently creating basic experiment plans and setting up instrument configurations
  • Perform and/or verify calculations related to reagent preparation and/or sample analysis.
  • Conduct sample inventory and verify sample identities.
  • Review information and documentation for accuracy.
  • Prepare study records for archive.
  • Independently create basic experiment plans.
  • Process and summarize data using Analyst and Watson

To qualify Specifically for this role, you will have:

  • BS/BA degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or other life science field
  • Basic ability to use (or to learn) balances, pH meter, centrifuge, and a volumetric flask
  • Ability to prioritize while working across multiple projects
  • At least one year of experience in a GLP laboratory environment.
  • Experience with LC-MS/MS techniques
  • Pipetting (air displacement and or/positive displacement, volumetric, etc).
