When you work as an Analyst in the Pharma LC-MS/MS group at KCAS Bio, you get to further our mission by working under senior scientists to contribute to the success of our clients.

The Pharma LC-MS/MS lab team uses their knowledge in GLP (Good Laboratory Practices) and GCP (Good Clinical Practice) methods to support clients’ regulatory submissions for drug discovery, preclinical, and clinical studies, including bioanalysis of drugs and metabolites, biomarkers, and active endogenous compounds in biological fluids and tissues.

In this role, we will rely on you to:

  • Process, prepare, analyze, and verify samples, laboratory solutions, reagents, method development, and reports
  • Prepare study records and data summaries for senior scientists to aid in client updates and for archiving
  • Independently create basic experiment plans and setting up instrument configurations
  • Perform and/or verify calculations related to reagent preparation and/or sample analysis
  • Conduct sample inventory and verify sample identities
  • Review information and documentation for accuracy
  • Prepare study records for archive
  • Independently create basic experiment plans
  • Process and summarize data using Analyst and Watson

To qualify for this role, you will have:

  • BS/BA degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, chemical/biochemical engineering, or related field
  • Must have experience with wet chemistry
  • Must have experience with LCMS (Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometry) and/or analytical techniques

Depending on your background and qualifications, we may consider hiring you for one of two levels of Analyst roles at KCAS Bio. This will be determined during the interview process.
